This center has programming for people of all ages, including a weight and workout room you can access all year for just a small fee. Or meet up with some friends and play pool in the rec room. For all ages, they have ceramics classes, and for kids, they offer before and after school care, plus summer camps.

Wildlife Refuge in Albuquerque—Mountain View
One local feature that might bring tourists to the region is the Valle de Oro Wildlife Refuge. This refuge is on a former dairy farm, and the long-term plan is to create several different native habitats where people can come and learn about the diverse wildlife and natural features of New Mexico. The goal is to reconnect people, especially young people, to nature. It’s along the Rio Grande River, and encompasses 570 acres.
